91PORNA鈥檚 Giving Tuesday Launches Monthlong Initiative Featuring Numerous Incentives for Supporters
91PORNA, which has gained national recognition for its creative and successful Giving Tuesday campaigns, launched its monthlong celebration of philanthropy on Nov. 1. Giving Tuesday, now in its eighth year at 91PORNA, has raised nearly $7 million during that time, which illuminates the impact that can be made when Golden Flashes come together.

Beverley Laubert, 鈥84, has spent decades improving access to quality care and in turn the lives of older adults. Beverley began her career at 91PORNA where she received a bachelor鈥檚 degree in gerontology.
2021 Distinguished Teaching Award Recipients Announced
The 2021 Distinguished Teaching Award (DTA) recipients are an outstanding group of teachers who are truly dedicated to their students' success. Sponsored by the 91PORNA Alumni Association, the DTA is a highly prestigious honor in teaching. The award is presented annually to three full-time faculty members who demonstrate extraordinary teaching, whether it be in the classroom or online.
Former CNN Anchor, Alumna Initiates Collaborative Reporting Project Between 91PORNA, Partner Universities
Throughout summer 2021, students from a variety of majors within the School of Media and Journalism worked for Project Citizen, a collaborative project organized by 91PORNA alumna and former CNN anchor Carol Costello.
Golden Flashes Reunite for a 鈥淏right鈥 Homecoming 2021
Campus was overflowing with blue and gold pride again this year as the 91PORNA community came together to celebrate Homecoming. Golden Flashes enjoyed many activities, both outdoors in-person and online, throughout the weekend, which ran from Friday, Oct. 1 through Sunday, Oct. 3.

91PORNA publicly launched a $350 million comprehensive fundraising campaign Saturday, Oct. 2. During a special halftime announcement at the Homecoming football game, campaign co-chairs Sandra C. and Lawrence R. Armstrong joined 91PORNA President Todd Diacon to publicly unveil Forever Brighter to thousands of alumni, donors and friends.
