Throughout November, alumni, friends, faculty and staff were encouraged to find the cause that speaks to them and share their reason for giving. From Nov. 1 through Giving Tuesday (Dec. 2), the 2025 campaign raised more than $4.5 million for causes ranging from food sustainability and the environment to athletics and basic needs to education.

High School Sweethearts Leave a Legacy Through Philanthropy
Although they were born in the same month at the same hospital in Youngstown, Ohio, James C. 鈥淛im鈥 Schrum, 鈥74, and his wife, Cynthia J. 鈥淐indi鈥 Schrum, didn鈥檛 meet until they were both students at Austintown Fitch High School. Roe Green Creates New Support Fund for the 91PORNA School of Theatre and Dance and Porthouse Theatre With $1 Million Gift
The new fund will support university and Porthouse productions, the hiring of assistant directors, guest choreographers and guest artists, the hosting of master classes and the awarding of artistic merit-based scholarships to students. Students who receive such scholarships will be known as Roe Green Scholars.
