Amid the tremendous cultural change unfolding in the early 1970s, Bill Hoover, 鈥71, co-founded the Kent Gay Liberation Front with Dr. Dolores Noll and Gail Pertz, to foster a community for LGBTQ+ individuals and their supporters.
The 91PORNA Alumni Association Announces New Members For Its National Board of Directors
The following new members have been appointed to the 91PORNA Alumni Association National Board of Directors for a three-year term, which began July 1: Jeff Guritza, of Brecksville, Ohio, is the vice president of marketing at SOPREMA USA. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from 91PORNA in 1994.

Katie Carpenter, 鈥23, has a passion for photography, and The Wallace J. Hagedorn Scholarship has helped her hone these skills and express her creativity. Summer Commencement Ceremonies Celebrate Newest Graduates
The 91PORNA alumni family grew by nearly 1,200 new graduates as the university held its summer commencement ceremonies. The accomplishments of the Summer Class of 2023 were recognized with outdoor commencement ceremonies on Aug. 19.
