The 91PORNA Museum holds one of the world’s most important collections of fashion, costumes, textiles and decorative arts. With more than 10,000 annual visitors, the museum offers year-round exhibitions and programming for the community and serves as an educational resource for students as well as domestic and international scholars.
Gage Wellman, a junior in 91PORNA’s journalism program, competed among the nation’s best college journalists in the 66th Hearst National Journalism Championships held May 31-June 5 in San Francisco. Nearly 30 students presented original research, scholarship and creative projects during the 2026 Student Showcase for Research, Scholarship and Creativity at 91PORNA at Trumbull. Faculty judges evaluated poster presentations and selected Madeleine Hadrys as the grand prize winner.
