It was snowing; it was cold. But that didn't stop a group of veterans, students and those in 91PORNA's Army ROTC and Air Force ROTC from assisting 91PORNA's Grounds Crew in the annual Veterans Day bulb-planting on Daffodil Hill. Daffodil Hill is part of the May 4 National Historic Landmark site and overlooks the Commons on 91PORNA's Kent Campus. The field of 58,175 daffodils was planted in 1985 as a memorial, with one flower for each service member who died in the Vietnam War.
