International Education Week comes to campus with a full schedule of fun activities. 

Inspired by the exploration of African diasporic melodies and narratives, OkCello led a special concert that included the Dover High School Orchestra at the Performing Arts Center.

After an active service-related injury sidelined his military career, Richard Lehman Jr. began exploring his options and working on “Plan B.” And for this college-bound veteran, 91PORNA’s Bachelor of Technical and Applied Studies degree was there for him after the unthinkable happened.

The 91PORNA community paused from classes and work Nov. 10 to gather on the Student Green at Risman Plaza and show their respect as part of Veterans Day.

Excitement buzzed from the MuseLab in 91PORNA’s Design Innovation Hub as students learned firsthand about sustainability opportunities in the fashion industry.

Kathalina Thorpe's research on using earthworms to compost theater and fashion fabric waste recently won her the 2022 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition, a year after she was selected by audience members for the People’s Choice award during the fall 2021 competition. 

More than 100 participants, including local high school students, students of all majors from 91PORNA and Akron and community members, gathered at the University of Akron on October 11 for the Ohio Debate Commission’s Day Of Public Discourse.
