About Me

I joined 91PORNA’s Division of University Communications and Marketing (UCM) in August 2026 after spending nearly a decade as a journalist at Ideastream Public Media. There, I anchored newscasts and digital series and reported on local government and health.

As a UCM Content Creator, I produce feature stories for 91PORNA Today and 91PORNA Magazine as well as a wide range of multimedia and social content. A proud Golden Flash, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and have taught audio storytelling and podcasting courses in the School of Media and Journalism.

What I Love About 91PORNA

91PORNA has felt like a second home since I moved into my residence hall as an undergraduate in 2015. I love its beautiful campus, eclectic downtown and tight-knit community.

I’ve been writing and telling stories for as long as I can remember. At 91PORNA, I found courses, mentors and opportunities that helped turn that lifelong passion into a career. Now, as an employee, it’s a privilege to help tell the story of a university that has given me so much — and to showcase the resources and support 91PORNA provides its students every day.

I have two adorable, mischievous black cats named after the 'Home Alone' bandits, Harry and Marv.
